COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another award winning ale which is a mild version of a Belgian classic. Brewed with equal amounts of northwestern malted wheat and malted barley, hopped with Czechoslovakian Saaz hops and finished with a touch of coriander and orange peel. This is an ale for every season with a hint of fruit in the nose, subdued malty flavor and a slightly citric finish. A Belgian style brewed in Belt - Beltian White!

355ml brown bottle. Hazy pale gold colour, cloudy, some tiny floaties. Fat and creamy white head. Sticky lacing. Nose has orange peels, coriander. Taste is lemony, yeasty, wheaty, sweet citrus. Dry finish, light spice, faint hops. Light body, tingly carbonation. Nice looking beer, fairly typical wit flavour. Pretty decent overall.

Not my favourite style but a clean and crisp brew with a fresh and floral profile. A beautiful pour of light hay and a puffy, dense white head. Floral and slightly perfumy hop and ester blend. A good session brew with citrus, coriander and wheat flavours.

Served on tap in a snifter glass Appearance – The beer is served a very hazy orange amber color with a tiny white head of pure white. The head fades very fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is big of yeast and wheat with a good showing of spices of coriander and clove as well. Along with these aromas comes some notes of a light lemon and orange citrus as well as some bready smells. Taste – The taste begins with a drier wheat bread taste mixed with a moderate showing of some citrus of orange. There is a bit of yeastiness as well as some flavors of spice upfront, with coriander and clove being the strongest of the spice. The yeast and spice grow slightly stronger in nature as the taste advances, but never become overly strong. A little more orange sweetness comes to the tongue as the taste advances to the end, with a bit more spice and some slightly sour lemon coming as well. With all the changes that occurred throughout the taste, one is left with a nice drier citrus and moderately yeasty and spiced flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly thicker side for a brew of only 4.75 % with a carbonation level that is rather average to slightly higher. The thicker body does well for the yeast and spice, really accentuating these all while the higher carbonation excites the tongue and is very nice for accentuating the sweet citrus. Overall, the feel is very appropriate. Overall – A rather nice wit overall that packs a nice flavor into a minimal abv. of 4.75 %. Very well done!!

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Nothing notched on the Best Before part of the label. Clear golden color. Little ring of white head. Some loose ropes of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Belgian wit type yeast flavor, mild spice, good bright orange citrus. Nice zesty taste, moderate sweet, kind of tangy. Light bitterness. Pretty tasty, enjoyable, easy-drinking witbier.

On tap at Many Glacier Lodge in MT. Right off the bat, bananas and clove oil in the aroma, as well as heavy malts. I could have been at the dentist, so much clove. Poured a hazy yellow, with a big, rocky, and very clean, bright white head. Swallows with a medium, creamy body, an average carbonation and a long, doughy character on the finish. I did have this on tap, but brought a bottle home, so I may revisit this rating at a later date.

Bottle from Bullwinkle’s Liquor in West Yellowstone, MT. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus/coriander and wheat. Near medium body. Flavor is quite zesty. Some wheat comes through. Zest is strong enough to mask hop identities. Pretty flavorful wit.
