COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
NUT BROWN ALE - Our fall seasonal which is deep amber to brown in color, brewed with pale, crystal and specialty malts and has a toasted nut nose and a warm nutty finish. The soft, rounded, slightly sweet body, touch of hoppiness and strong nutty overtones provide for a complex ale that is enjoyable after a fall weather outing or as an after dinner treat.

Growler pour thanks to JohnGalt1. I think Toby is working his hardest to make me one of the top Montana raters. Pours out a dark brown topped with a off-white head. Aroma was of wood, nut, chocolate, pit fruit, and some light hop notes. Taste was as the aroma with a nice sweetness along with some rich light roast malts.

Swingtop thanks to Toby, handbottled. Pours a mostly opaque brown color with a medium grey head. An interesting nose; sweet hops and dried fruit and chocolate. The flavor is a robust mix of cocoa, dark chocolate, fruit and dryness. Fairly hoppy. Nice. Unusually full for the style in terms of flavor.

@ Millers Crossing-on tap-pours a thin light tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is nutty, earthy. Taste is hazel nut/roasty/peat/cocoa/chocolate, some earthy hops. OK carbonation. Smooth.

On draft @ The Belt Creek Brewpub when Harvest Moon had its brewery in the brewpub. Pours a nice dark brown color. Aromas of nuts/chocolate/caramel. Flavor is nutty with a nice sweet honey chocolate taste and a little coffee bitterness.
