BückDich (4605), Boise, Idaho, USA May 2, 2006 Draught at The Rhino pub in Missoula, MT
Dark brown/black color with an off-white head and light lacing. The nose is light with roast chocolate and a touch of coffee, more sweet and floral with hops and chocolate malt than the usual astringent stout-porters. The flavor is creamy with a light sweetness and moderate bitterness. Finishes smooth, a decent bite and a tangy finish. Good porter, only had a small sample of this before I had to go, so I might be better off trying a full pint in the future but I just couldn’t pass up a beer with a tap handle like this. Tmoney99 (3740), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 11, 2006 Draft. Black color with an average fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee chocolate aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. jjpm74 (3447), Connecticut, USA Nov 16, 2008 Bottle courtesy of kyzr.
