Jine (855), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Apr 3, 2008 3.30.08 7.5% abv on this batch. Unfiltered, strong, typical Belgian Strong. Good example of the style. I second the need for glassware. Pints are no good for these brews
scraff (1615), Baltimore, Maryland, USA May 19, 2007 Draft - Opaque dark gold, thick creamy white head. As it warmed, rich honeyed banana and fresh bread dough notes emerge. Had a nice underlying nose of grassy citrus and touches of pepper. Flavor was fruity and yeasty up front with balancing grassy, citric, and light peppery tones. Full bodied, medium carbonation, soft bittersweet finish. Too bad everything comes in a pint here. This one screamed for the proper glassware. Either way, well done in m y book...
