3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle I picked up in Nagoya. It pours a deep gold with minimal foam that doesn’t last. The nose yeasty rich wine like fruitiness with a dash of orange. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. The taste is sharply fruity grapes, floralness, sweet - that purple gum like a chiclet I had as a kid. Nice but I prefer a more classi wheat/weizen.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Server Land. Interesting hybrid. Belgian feel but very creamy. Coriander and orange as expected, but weizen like creaminess. Almost vanilla ice cream. Sweet. Alright, but one was enough.

Decent, mild but tasty

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange zest, honey aroma. Grain flavor, mild fruitiness, dirty sour finish. Not my thing, feels quite off balance.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (gift from Neko-chan). Buttery, fruity aroma. Dull yellow, with steady and heavy carbonation. Mild sweetness, lots of yeast, sharp spicy aftertaste. Medium body, sharp carbonation on the tongue. The coriander and orange peel are barely noticeable. I would never guess that this is a wit. Drinkable. But not really a very successful effort...

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle mail order from the brewery, within Japan. Labelled as 5% alcohol. They cannot call it a beer in Japan because it contains spices (coriander at least), which are not on the legal list of ingredients. Similar to modern Hoegaarden, though a bit more mystique.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light gold color, cloudy, with a medium white head, fine. Spicy, citrus aroma, wheat malt. Crisp, somewhat sour, lots of coriander. Rich wheat malt flavor, much more than in aroma. Sweet, rich, spice and orange less evident. Very nice malt flavor with good sourish balance. Slightly lactic, creamy. Buttery. There is something of a Bohemian pilsner in the flavor as well. A very interesting interpretation. Sweet and sour, lightish finish.
