Bottled. Pitch black coloured. dense light brown head. Aroma of roast, fruits, liqourice,cocoa, light coffee. Flavour of sweetness, liqourice, coffee, spice, light herbs, wineous. MEdium to full bodied. Ends on a roasty bitter note with some spice note.

Bottle at home (Thanks to the owner of Craft Heads in Shubuya). Pitch black - brown head. Chocolate, roasted, carcoal, berries, light wooden notes, nutty, ok hoppy, light sweetness, light burned.

Bottle shared by Theis. Thanks! Pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is chocolate, yeast, some hard roasted malt, ripe fruit and some alcohol. The flavour is sweet chocolate.Loads of ripe fruit, tobacco and sweet caramel. Some roast and hops. Long sweet roasted finish Great!!

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013 Re-rate almost three years later. This has become flatter, more depth and superbly drinkable. Drinks like a 6-7% well balanced beer. Wow, this is off the charts.
very dark brown color. Rich full bodied. lots of dark chocolate. Brownies in a glass for a better word, but not sweet. A touch syrupy in the the nose. Well balanced. Heavy. highly enjoyable .
