A Mes rate: Cask at the Royal Oak. Golden brown with very very slight head. Dusty hop and tobacco nose with some malt underneath. Tasty as hell. Nutty, good malt and hop balance with a lovely herbacious finish. Nice mouthfeel. One of the better cask Harveys I have had.

Cask at C4, Odense. Light amber with a small, but lasting white head. Odd grassy flavour, with herbs and green leaves, overwhelming and not entirely pleasant. Dry and very bitter with a some grassy hop flavour and a hint of butterscotch.

Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg. Clear, golden ale with a small white head. Weak malty aroma with some hops, but there’s also a papery note. Malty start in the mouth, but then there’s some paper and a weak hoppiness. Thin to medium body. A boring session-style beer. (070331)

UPDATED: APR 4, 2008 Cask. Pale golden of color with a thin white longlasting head. The aroma is nice fresh with notes of grass, fruits, apples and citrus. The flavor light and bitter in the good way with notes of bisquit, malt, hops and dry hops.
