Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock Arms, London 11/02/10. Golden with next to no head. Harvey’s yeast character evident throughout, along with plenty of sweetish malts and a floral hop edge. Good.

Cask (handpump) @ Lord Nelson, Hyskenstraede 9, 1207 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear medium yellow - amber to orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100314]

Cask at The Wharf Aalborg. Slightly orange colour, with a white fizzy head. Weak aroma of malt and some hops. Flavours are citrus and grassy hop. Crisp and light mouthfeel, and reminds me somewhat of a lager.

Cask @ Royal Oak, London. Clear golden with small but laced white head. Caramel and toffeeish malt in aroma and flavour with subtle hop notes. Smooth and malty finish. A little subdued all round.

Cask in the Market Porter and The Royal Oak. Alround rating: Typical harveys minerla character dominates, fairly sweet pale honey malt, floral and fruity, the mineral character does balance, but not entirely. Alround not one of my favourates from harveys.

Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small creamy off-white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some grassy hoppy hints. Fruity malty bitter hoppy flavor. Has a dry fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Cask. Clear thin amber golden colour. Sweet caramel bit dark fruity malty aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet flavour with toasty malt and apple frutiness.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, CPH. Golden with a small white head. Weak aroma of grassy hops and a little malt. Malty flavour at first with a good hop bite.

Pours clear golden with a nice, small, creamy, white head. Nice duration. Soft aroma, light malty sweetness and pine hops. Light carbonation, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is just a pinch too sweet, dry flowery hops. Light bitter finish. Good, but a bit dull.
