Dec 11, 2005 Black color, almost no foam. Sweet aroma, with light notes of raisins and Christmas pudding. Thin body, some late sweetness, light caramel, very light Christmas pudding touch (raisins, spices, caramel…), or rye bread. Original, but too simple.

Jan 16, 2006 275ml bottle from Cask & Glass. Very dark brown with thin lasting beige head. Aroma of sweet toffee. Sweet and toffee in mouth. Slightly bready in mouth with more sweetness on end. Not hideous, but fairly basic and way too sweet. Finish has some nice hop bitterness though. Not really an old ale, more like some sweet brown liquid with some finishing hop. Bizarre
