COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - April to October.
.A cool golden summer ale. Very refreshing with a balanced complexity. The latest in our main range of beers it was first produced in 2005 to celebrate our major summer award at Kensington Olympia for Best Bitter. It became an instant hit and is especially appreciated when served at 11 degrees Celsius.

Cask at Royal Oak, London. September 08. Golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, citrus, grass and herbal notes. Soft carbonation, good bitterness and another easy to drink pint or two.

Cask. Summer ale. Golden color. The nose is subpar - a little too light. There’s hints of honey, grassy hops and pears. The taste is watery sweet with a little but of dry earthiness from the hops. The palate is a little unstructured, watery and simple. Not great, Harveys does much better than this.

Cask at The Elephant’s Head, Lamberhurst, Kent. Pours a hazy copper with a spare diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of light hops, apples, more fruit and malt. Flavour’s the same, and quite light, with light leafy hops, apples, caramel malt and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. Simple and pleasant, an O.K. beer.

Cask @ Lord Nelson, Brighton. Clear golden with some white bubbles on top. Slight resiny and perfumy hoppy but quite nasty citrus fruity aroma with some peach that is embedded in a funky sewer aroma. Euch! (After a bit down in the glass the smelll disappeared. The problem might have been the tap and not the beer). Taste is pale caramel malty with toffee and a decent citrus fruity hop punch. Medium body with some light tickeling carbonation. Refreshing and light but with a nasty smell. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and citrusy. Herbal and slight grassy hoppy flavoured. Mild sweetness and bitter dry. Slight grassy before the finish. Bitter and citrusy finish.

Cask (handpump) at the Royal Oak, Borough, May 2007. Yes it is golden in colour but seems to lack the fresh, vibrant feel that I enjoy in this style of beer. Very little aroma. Soft on the palate. Some hops but not a lot of bite. Pleasant enough, and certainly easy-drinking but a bit dull. Not one of Harveys better beers for me.
