UPDATED: OCT 24, 2011 Oct, 2005 Garland, Redhill. Prominent malt and hops, fully integrated and balanced. Splendid fresh flavours. A scintillating and fascinating beer, with that wonderful oaky Harveys note. Awesome. If only all beers could be this good. It is the freshness, the balance, the harmony, and the individual Harveys character that mark this out. [4.5]
Oct, 2011 Victoria, Eastbourne Beers don’t get much better than this. A stronger version of the classic Harvey’s Best. Good fruit base, lots of character and flavour, the distinctive Harvey’s hop blend, and that wonderful unique Harvey’s yeast. Yummyness abounds! [4.7]

Cask at Market Tavern, 18th October 2011. First sip is heavy Caramel and butterscotch, not bad a bit sweet, not my idea of an IPA. Heavy towards the end

Cask, four pint take out from the brewery shop, 2nd Oct 2010. Perfectly clear bright amber with no head. Lovely citrus and raisin nose. Good dry flavour behind a palate that is full without being too heavy. Perhaps it could do with a little more spice and quirkiness but overall a lovely pint.

Cask@The Warf.pours golden amber with a small white head.Aroma of cheesy hops, caramel, fruitiness and yest.Flavor is sweet and malty with some bitterness.Medium body, soft carbonation.

Cask at the Wharf. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is butter, fruit, malt. Flavour is hop, butterscotsch, fruit, malt, citrus. Ordinary beer.

Clear copper of color with an off white head. An aroma of barn, talcum, hops, weak fruits and dry. A flavor of hops, rubber, dry and weak apples.

Cask at The Wharf. A clear, golden beer with a white head looking like it’s from a cask beer, which of course it is. Sweaty, toffee apple aroma, barnyard-ish notes too. For a moment I wondered if I was smelling some English cider. The flavor is pretty much the same, more on the citrusy side than the aroma, and with a nice citrusy, piney bitterness. A bit thin on the palate. Decent but strange, especially on the nose. Drinks easy though. 101204

Happy with this beer good full bodied taste to it. Would deffinatley buy again

This is a delightful beer. This by far was one of my favourites at the Eastbourne beer festival last year.

Clear golden orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet fruity, caramel and light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter. Dry finish. 251210

Nose is line, soapy, mint, feel is quite broad, low carb, taste is bitter hops, some cranberry, late weak sour malt
