Cask conditioned at The Market Porter, Borough, London. Amber with white head. This was 5.5% on cask. Big fruity beer with a heady alcohol note. Drying, dusty hop flavour in a slightly confused body, bitter finish. Pretty reasonable overall.

500ml bottle. 6.5% ABV. Re-rate at the Royal Oak, Borough, 24th Feb 2009. Pillowy nose and very lively on the tongue. Clear amber look. Orange and vanilla on the nose, similar flavour with restrained hoppiness and a bitter finish. Very nice.

Cask @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a golden deep orange with next-to-nothing head. Aroma is light caramel with a good dose of grassy hops and a little sulfur. Low carbonation. Flavour is very soft, lots of caramel at first. Then a surge of wonderful hops hit me, but maintains a great balance. Pine and flowers dominate, giving it a great dryness at the end.

Copper with a lasting off-white head, leaving fine lace. Pungent grassy hops aroma, with some apples and caramel. Semi-sweet with some bitterness.
