[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is flowery hoppy with slight notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy combined with citrus and a slight sticky toffee note.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is light fruity. Mild sweet and rather malty initial flavour. Fruity, tangerine and peaches, sweet impression following. Light caramelish note. Distinct bitterness and lingering fruity note into the finish. Ends dry and with a lasting fruity note from back of the tongue.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, orange, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acrid bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090730]

Bottled (at Chris O). Ambery golden colour, small white head. Aroma is quite fruity and berryish, with some slight yeasty and wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same, quite sweet, but niicely hopped brew.

Hazy amber color. Very grassy hop aroma. Quite malty, a bit of hoppy fruitness, strongly hopped but still mellow. Excellent.

500ml bottle from Brewery Shop. Chestnut, clear with lasting beige head. This has a really toffee butter aroma. Not much hop really at all. Diacetyl? Just not much of anything but butter, some hop on end. Bit disappointing. Only hints of the big hop I was expecting. Must try again and preferably on cask.

A Mes rate: Another bottle from the Royal Toke that we sunk on the benches outside the George Inn. Mid amber with a decent white head. Hoppy, grassy aroma that is much more IPA than ESB. Malty and unrefined flavour with some sweet cereal notes underneath. Not a great beer.
