Medium to thinner body with low carbonation. A bit buttery and creamy. Ok, but pretty boring.

Bottle from the brewery shop, consumed on 30 July 2009. Gold colour but more like a bitter in character than a golden ale. Albeit a fairly soft and easy drinking one. Decent balance of mild earthy hops and toasty malt. Clean enough. Does its job without fuss. A pleasant quaffer.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 peter48er (169) - Liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2009
275ml bottled as Quidsin. Pale golden yellow with a very small off white head. No carbonation. Some citrus and flowers on the nose but the taste was once again dominated by a strong caramel and rather woody taste. This seems to be common in a lot of these small bottles from the brewery. Slightly better than my recent experiences had led me to expect.

Bottle from brewery shop in Lewes. Lovely hops. The Harveys "signature note" blend of Fuggles and Goldings with a bit of house yeast (but no Bret). A good quaffing ale - refreshing and flavoursome. Lighter in character and drier than the Best.
