This sucks! It’s only like 2% or something! Dark brown brew with minor lacing. Sweet aroma, too sweet actually, some form of coffee.. maybe. Terrible taste! Blood, weak everything, soooo watery. Probably the weakest tasting beer ever.

Bottle 275ml. @ Chriso’s pre GBBF Shindig ’09.
Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate oxidide. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090801]

[275ml bottle from Pallant of Arundel] Pours black with chestnut hints and a swiftly dissipating brown head. It isn’t as fizzy as it looks on pouring - in fact, the slight prickle of carbonation is perfect to offset the thick, smooth texture. Light aroma of roasted malt. Taste of caramel, chocolate and malt. Definitely sweet (there’s not a hint of bitterness), but not to a sickly extent - I did keep thinking it would become sickly but it never did. Quite a well constructed beer, although I think you’ll enjoy it more if you think of it as a soft drink rather than a beer - it really doesn’t taste like beer at all! There’s just a hint of sourness in the finish which didn’t quite work, but otherwise I was quite happy with it.

At Chriso’s pre GBBF Shindig ’09. Very dark brown with a beige head. Sour buttery aroma. Intensely sweet cardboard taste, like eating the Crunchy Nut cereal box. I wonder who buys this curious beverage. Does anyone buy it twice?

Bottled. Brown colour, small head. Aroma is sweet malts, some slight rubbery notes. Mild metal as well. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather sweet and not too balanced.

Bottle from the brewery shop had at home. Alround rating: Sweet roasty candy sugar like malt, small chocolate character, the metallic edge of the pasturisation adds a dryness that actually works, but isnt good to feel.
