Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

500ml. bottle from L.C.B.O..The color is a hazy orange with a beige head. The aroma is sweet and spicy. The taste is of hops and cirrus fruits with a very pleasant bitterness to it.

Bottle: Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. The aroma has some honey, biscuit, mild herbal notes and grass. The palate is nice and fluffy, with a flavor that offers a mild sweet note from the malt. It has a touch of doughy/cracker notes along with very mild honey and a crisp hop character giving it a hint of lemon zest and an herbal dry finish. Balanced, well integrated; a very nice Golden Ale.

Bottled. Bought at Cornelius, Edinburgh, Scotland. Flowery hoppiness in the nose. Clear, golden coloured with a thin, white and lasting head. Taste is bitter, slightly sweet. It has the flowery hops as well as some maltiness and citrus.

Odd beer. Bottle from total wine. Pours a slightly hazy apricot color wtih almost zero head. Aroma is a combo of hops and biscuits. Flavor is pretty weak. A tad sweet, a tad hoppy and a slight hint of bitterness. I expected more from a beer with this name.
