Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

500mL bottle: Pours a semi cloudy light amber with quickly dissipating head. Sharp aromatic hops to the nose. Flavour is bitter and spicy with lemon twist in the finish. Effervescent and tangy palate. Have to try the cask.

Bottle - Bitter and twisted is what I felt after trying this. Tart and fruity fizzyness that made this a tongue tingler. Yikes, I will pass on this yeasty sour sucker in the future.

500ml bottle.Hazy dark straw body with a small bit of creamy head. Sharp nose, citrusy particularly lemon, floral and spicy, somehow reminded of a Belgian wit from first impression. Carbonation is low, body has dense chalky grittiness about it, as if their the body had plenty of suspended yeast, giving the impression that it isn’t as lean as first suggested. Bitter orange on the body, some earthy spice and wheaty malt in the mix, finish has citric sharpness about it. Nothing like I expected, very different that’s for certain, and i’m somehow reminded of one of my homebrewed pale ales that didn’t work out that way I planned...not sure thats a good thing or not. Nice regardless.

App.: Clear dark golden poor, very little head

Aromas: Green grapes, corn, orange zest, grapefruit and other subtile hop hints

Palate: Very crisp and fresh start to a long lasting hoppy bitterness. Very well rounded with a light sweetness. Medium/light body and carbonation.

Flavors: Corn comes back to mind (corn syrup), honey, grassy notes.

Notes: Very balanced mouthfeel, nothing stands out realy but a good quality brew.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet fruit and yeast with some lemon. Flavor is mildly bitter with fruit, hop, and yeast. Body is very thin. This beer might be an English Bitter rather than the style given it here. Very thin body with light hops.

Taste 7/8 Bottle, no date. Looks: Golden torso, thin head. Aroma: Nice spicy smell with lemon. Taste: Thin to medium body. Nice spice and pop. Lemon, clean and tart. Mild buttery undertones. Really nice.
