albert_007 (409), Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada Nov 25, 2007 Golden yeller, no head, tiny bubbles forming white ring with a bit of lace. Aroma of sweet freshly baked white cake, piney, floral hops. Flavor is hoppy, light-medium mouthfeel. Hops are most apparent in a bitter finish. Yummy.

The aroma has some honey, biscuit, mild herbal notes and grass. The palate is nice and fluffy, with a flavor that offers a mild sweet note from the malt. It has a touch of doughy/cracker notes along with very mild honey and a crisp hop character giving it a hint of lemon zest and an herbal dry finish. Balanced, well integrated; a very nice Golden Ale. skortila (2433), Bunnik, Netherlands Sep 20, 2008 Bottled. Bought at Cornelius, Edinburgh, Scotland. Flowery hoppiness in the nose. Pours a slightly hazy apricot color wtih almost zero head. Aroma is a combo of hops and biscuits. Flavor is pretty weak. A tad sweet, a tad hoppy and a slight hint of bitterness. I expected more from a beer with this name.
