Ober (529), Best, Netherlands Jul 10, 2008 Updated: Jul 26, 2008 At Cafe Bar Le Duc ’s Hertogenbosch (NL). It’s a clear golden colored beer, with a smal lasting head. An aroma of bitter and citrus fruity. The taste is fresh, bitter on the right way and it’s fruity. The after tast, has a long bitter, on a pleasant way. A little alcohol. A very good drinkable beer
ruggedman (431), Portland, Maine, USA Oct 5, 2008 On tap at Novare Res in Portland. Just ordered it on a whim, and i was very pleasantly surprised. This stuff is supremely drinkable, very tasty, and has an interesting flavor of hops. I’m loving this stuff, dare I say one of the first good hoppy beers i’ve sampled from over the pond! Bullit (659), Glasgow, Scotland Sep 13, 2008 Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma has grapefruits and hops. Flavour is fruity, with citrus and orange. Fresh bitterness. gary07734 (210), Tyne & Wear, England Aug 24, 2008 Nice pale pint, refreshing pint, bitter and hoppy, tiny bit of fruitiness, nice clean finish. Fairly good and easy drinking. iammarc (186), Inverness, Scotland Aug 5, 2008 A great pint from Blackfriars, Inverness. Fantastic appearance, good blonde slightly hazy look. A thin head on top, and a refreshing taste. A million fruit tastes going on inside, and good finish. Brilliant. TEJA (146), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 30, 2008 On caask at OT and Akkurat.
This is one of my favorite beers. It has a very plesant aroma that isn’t the usual english hops but much more fresh. (Do they wet-hop?). Litle darker than a lager. Much hop taste and a long nice bitterness. At Akkurat in a real pint glass this is heaven.
