COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

500ml bottle from Solo in St. Albert. Most scottish blondes have that "sexy beer you want to down at a party" feel and this was no exception. BClear golden pour, hint of copper colour, weak white foam that bubbles away slowly. Aroma is earthy malts, hints of caramel, passion fruit, lemon. Taste is a mild sweetness, honey, citrus followed by a punch of hoppy flavour. Great zesty citrus dried out with the bitterness. Superb.

A frothy head to begin with soon dissaperars. Light citrus aroma. With a clean bitter taste hint of lemon with slight spicy hops. A good sesion beer.

DWG; Pours clear golden with deminishing white head. Nose of hoppy tropic, citrus and malt. Taste profile mirrors, highlighting citrus. Crispy, spritzy mouth. Excellent. Lasting bitter finish. Give in to temptation.

couleur or, faible carbonatation. Le nez est houblonné, citronné et épicé. La bouche suit le nez, la texture est assez sèche, bonne amertume, un peu d’agrumes aussi. Légère et facile à boire avec une bonne finale citronnée.

Bottle from Tesco; hazy amber pour with creamy white head, citrus hop aroma, big citrus hop coming through in the taste along with some sweet malt action.

djoeye (897) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 13, 2013
500ml brown bottle 4.2% abv, purchased at Kilpishalli Finland. Apricot-white head on golden somewhat hazy body. Some lacings inside the mug. Scents of hops, grass, fruits, maybe apricot or peach. Tastes hops, grainy malts, pine needles, spices. Well balanced bitterness underneath. Ends with roasted malts, hops, grapefruit in ashes. Tasty ale.

Crystal clear pale gold color with tons of bubbles running up from the bottom of the pint glass. Head pours cream colored but fades almost immediately. Smells extremely earthy and bready with a very faint hop presence and a not too subtle sweetness. Although I LOVE the taste of this beer. The hop is noticeable but not anywhere near what I’m used to in American IPAs. Present but not over powering. The yeasty/biscuit notes are wonderful and there’s a slight sweetness that has to be malt derived. It finishes extremely clean and has almost zero aftertaste. I could definitely see myself drinking more of this throughout the summer months because of the 4.2 ABV and easy drink-ability along with the great taste. Really glad I finally decided to pick this beer up for a try.

Rich tasting beer with nice colour. Somehow anonymous smell, but all in all a good beer.

Some citrus, slightly corny, grassy hops, quite a smooth finish. Decent golden ale.

Very light citrus taste. Slight hoppiness... And not much carbonization. It’s ok.
