"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bitter malty smell. Taste is bitter tart with a sufficient body behind it. The aftertaste is surprising fresh. Nicely carbonated in general. I don’t like the style, but not a bad beer.

500 ml bottle from Sobeys Liquor, served in a nonic pint glass. Pours a clear orange-amber hue with light, fine streams of carbonation and a puffy, solid white head that leaves zigzags of lace. My initial reaction to the aroma was "wow, this smells the way I remember how beer smelled when I was a kid", likely due to Canadians buying and consuming a goodly amount of domestic Vienna lager. Along with a solid, medium-dark malt punch is a minty, jasmine tea undercurrent, studded with dark berries; the flavor maintains the same profile, and is both gently flavorful and eminently quaffable. The slightest level of bitterness carries over briefly into a dry, clean finish. Perhaps I’d be happier with stronger flavor components, but that would drive it into another style altogether, and, as it is, I could session the daylights out of this. Very refreshing and satisfying, perhaps even more so than "lawnmower lager". Lovely ale.

Dark Bottle, co-op. Pours medium golden, with a light white head subsiding quickly. Scent is dense, sweet malt and pale malts. Taste is medium sweet backed by generous dry-hopping. Finish is dry, clean. Excellent.

Lagermainen tuoksu, vehnäinen, mausteinen, ripaus sitrusta. Kirkkaan kullan kellertävä. Pitsinen pieni lyhytikäinen vaahto. Miedot maut, jalohumalan kevyt maku ja passeli katkeruus. Häivähdys sitrusta, ei nimeksi asti. Ohut ja hieman vetinen runko. Helposti juotava.

Pours clear golden straw color, with a barely there white head. Aroma has notes of grass, lemon, caramel malt and grapefruit hops. Body is light-to-medium, a touch oily with a dry finish. Flavors of lemon and biscuit malt, with some grass and caramel beneath.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Nose is lemony malt (if this is possible). Yellow beer with small lasting white head. Hardly any carbonation. Medium bodied with chalky mouthfeel, intense bitterness fades to floral hop finish. Very nice.

Bottle from Don Quijote Shibuya store for what I think was only 157 yen. Pours clear, obviously filtered amber. Almost no head and low carbonation. Well, that’s actually what the deScriptions is saying here. Aroma is quite subtle, just a bit of fresh caramel and freshly cut grass. Taste is really soft at first, low carbonation contributes to velvety mouthfeel I guess. Goes down easily and seems to have only some caramel and not much more... until the aftertaste reveals some fruitiness and also hops kick in and lingering dry bitterness coats your mouth. Actually better than I expected, has some tricks, pretty nice session beer. Would love to get this from cask.
