Fresh tasting & wheat-ish. Not as bitter as I'd have expected but a good average beer for drinking on a hot summer afternoon. Rated by BrewTom

A fine golden and bitter beer. Bit grainy, with a very drinkable body. Good one.

Cask at Grill, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is biscuit, doughy, lemon zest and floral notes. The taste is crisp, doughy, biscuit, floral, citrus zest and light sweetness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth, balanced and scoofable.

Cask at Draft House Battersea. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Nose is full of big biscuit and lemon rind, hints of zest. Loads of zest comes through in the taste with light floral hops. Heavy biscuit to balance with a hit of lemon and sweet citric juice. Very balanced. Light sweetness on the finish which is rounded out by the biscuit. Wasn’t expecting much but this is really quite good

Cask at Lebowski’s. Pale gold, thin white head. Light citrus aromas, some cereal. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Thin. Original when it came out, now it seems like most beers you get in British cask pubs are variations on this theme.

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av citrus, gräs och lätt maltighet. Samma återkommer i smaken. En balanserad efterbeska. Medelstor kropp. En mycket bra öl i sin alkoholklass.

On tap (since the choice was between cask and bottle I’m putting the rate here). Faintly hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma of malt, bread and fruity hops. Taste is fairly sweet, fruity, flowers with some basementy notes.
