Bright golden transparant, light head formation. Fruity and wild berry aroma, comes through to a lesser extent on the palate. Predominant hop bitterness but still leaves some of the berry sweetness. Works well overall. I see it’s listed as a bitter, but would probably call it a heavily hopped blonde ale.

(cask) pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of lemon peel, vanilla and popcorn, with a hint of yeast and bread dough. flavour is mostly the same, with notes of lime and herbal hops, straw, a very light sweetness and a light-bitter finish. light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours clear orange with pretty much no head. Aroma of light fruit, caramel, citrus. Taste is initial light sweet before turning balanced light bitter. Body is light with soft carbonation. Very nice for such a low ABV! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the gate in Brooklyn NYC. There was only a cask and bottle option to rate so I'm going with this. One of the better bitters ice had even though I hate this style ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask at malt n hops, Fenton. Pours pale golden with white head. Quite fruity but not as much going on as the bottled version. I can't very often say I prefer bottle to cask! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had a couple of pints last night. Normally find the ’twist’ a bit too much - I’m not a huge fan of the citrussy tang - I don’t really like too much sweetness in a beer. Last night though the tang wasn’t really there and bitterness was the dominating flavour - as a result it went down pretty smoothly & better than I remember B&T normally being.

Creedence (127) - Cork, IRELAND - MAR 26, 2013
Draught at Bierhaus. Pours a straw-like yellow, with a well lasting head. A floral and aromatic nose of strawberry, citrus, and pleasant wet grass. Taste is a light malty sweetness followed by a well-balanced bitterness - more strawberry and citrus with a little subtle hint of vanilla. Smooth carbonation and a refreshingly light lager-like palate, with a not-overpowering lingering bitterness. Lovely blonde, great summer beer.
