On cask. Pale golden colour, aroma of fruity resin, some hops, taste is more of the same, citrus, quite dry, refreshing. Quite tasty and packing a decent amount of flavour. Not bad.

Cask @ The Sir John Moore JDW. Golden yellow colour, good head. Fruity resin aroma. Citrusfruit & resin flavour. Dry aftertaste.Light & refreshing blonde beer. Big taste for a 3.6% beer.

Pretty basic beer, thin malt base to a fairly standard hop profile which is a little resiny. Watery and lacking depth. A pretty bog standard session ale, surprisingly dull for Harviestoun who usually add a little something to beers. So overall a bit pedestrian.

Cask@Hope & Anchor, Bristol. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild herbal and nectary notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance. Refreshing, but a bit boring.

Cask by handpump at Queens Arms, Edinburgh - clear golden ale, good white head, citrus hop aroma and flavour, thin body, dry bitter citrus finish

tombyars (1352) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JAN 5, 2012
First tasted this in the Saltcot, Saltcoats (JDW) in May 2004. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Hint of lemon grass in the short aroma. Thin watery mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a weak malt base with just a hint of lemon and lime cordial in there. Floral hops give a fragrant flavour to the short aftertaste. Finish is very light and watery with hop resins just about edging it. Yet another Golden Ale to add to the burgeoning biased portfolio. No wonder Brewdog is so popular just now

Cask at the Red Lion, Isleworth, Bank Holiday Festival, 29th August 2010. Straw gold colour. Floral nose with citric hops. Delicate floral flavour but feels like itís being held back by the low strength. Not one of their best.

13th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer. Little white head. Light semi dry palate. Good grapefruit - orange hops for itís abv. Fruity bitter - not much else but tastes alright with consideration to itís low strength.

Pale pint, citrus, lemon and dry flavours, quite fruity overall and a decent hoppy finish. Nice and refreshing.

Cask - The Cider Shed, Norwich. Poured with a huge lasting, frothy and doming off-white head atop a golden orange body. Crisp lemon and grassy hops with some sweet peach and orange. A lovely grapefruit citrus quality about the flavour that lasted well, complimented by sweet tangerine notes. Bright & refreshing yet soft palate texture, light to medium body and a lingering bitter hop finish. Another good Harviestoun golden.
