Usually producers of fine bottled ales, Harviestoun have let themselves down with this rather run of the mill bitter. The picture on the label is a moon behind a church spire which gives the impression of a slightly risque "moon". Sigh! Is it true that the quality of a beer is in inverse proportion to the rudeness of the label? The hops are Willamette, a rather soft, gentle breed, and Liberty, typically found in German lagers. The mildness of these hops may account for the lack of character in the beer.
