Good looking seasonal mild which is hoppy in its character and is nice to drink.

Cask, Francis Newton, Sheffield, UK. Deep gold, subdued hop aroma. Sweet and creamy texture, nice bitterness on the finish with citrus and pine.

Cask by handpump at Last Post, Paisley (23 Jan 12) - clear amber with creamy off-white head, citrus malt and taste is citrus / grapefruit and spicy with a dry and very bitter and prolonged aftertaste, too bitter for my liking

Cask @ Diggers, Edinburgh [280213]
Amber, clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of light hoppy pale fruits
Taste of soft citrus hops, soft zest, fairly fruity light pale malts, touch of lemon, although its fairly generic - it’s pretty decent
Palate - Medium body. Finish as main flavour
Overall - Above average fairly hoppy golden ale - I thought it was rather good

Cask at Redlight. Light, refreshing with a good amount of flavor. Hop bitterness and dried grasses. Goes down smooth. Nice bitter.

Cask. Gold with a small white head. Citrus and hops aroma. Butter, malt and hoppy flavour with a bitter hop finish. Very low carbonation. OK but boring bitter.

cask at redlight redlight. Pours sort of a peachy cloudy amber, some bubbly carbonation, which of course dissipates quickly. nose is dominated by that sort of that hairy animal like aroma with hint of grain to it. on the palate this beer is very chill and smooth. mild bittersweet flavor, not too abrasive and very sessionable. as far as bitters go this is quite nice.

Pours a mostly clear golden brown small film head and great lacing smells of pine cone hops grass and a bit of sweetness Taste is very bitter when it hits your tongue and then coats it with an even more so bitterness of citrus rind, the bitter white pith though so I thought it was a bit much. some slight malt and fruit sweetness tries to balance it out but gets kicked in the nuts by his bitter friend. Smooth and soft on the tongue and the only thing keeping me from drinking too much is the intence bitterness. A bit one dimensional and not balanced enough for me. I liked it the first time I had it a few months ago better. May be the batch, my palate or the moment. Will still try it again, as I love the brewery.

Nice light session style beer. Aroma is primarily malt with a light fruit note. Taste is actually surprisingly fruity and quite citrus in nature. More sour than bitter. Interesting take on the style.

Not sure about this one. Slightly hazy amber colour, strong citrus aromas. Bitter almost sour in taste. Quite intense. Overall a little too acidic for me.
