cask @ redlight redlight. Grassy hops on the nose with hints of citrus and peaches. Pours a golden pale with a thick white head. Grassy hops with an earthy bitterness, light fruits dry apples with hints of papya, hints of sweet malts towards the end, with a dry finish. Excellent!

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden. Spicy hay-like hops strike hard. Very dry with light body and lovely chewy vital malt character. Almost aggressive chalky bitterness. Lovely drinking beer, though perhaps the bitterest bitter I’ve had.

On cask at Paradiso. Pours a clear orange/amber with a dense tan head. Great sheety lace. Soft carbonation. Aroma is orange juice, grapefruit rind, floral hops. Taste is bitter grapefruit, citrus hops, rather subdued. Very nice session English cask ale. More like an English IPA than Bitter.

Teege (375) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 6, 2010
cask at redlight redlight. Pours sort of a peachy cloudy amber, some bubbly carbonation, which of course dissipates quickly. nose is dominated by that sort of that hairy animal like aroma with hint of grain to it. on the palate this beer is very chill and smooth. mild bittersweet flavor, not too abrasive and very sessionable. as far as bitters go this is quite nice.

Labeled 4.3% ABV
Hazy amber color, small white head. Fullbodied smooth malty and herbal bitter taste. Rich long bitter aftertaste. Full smooth mouthfeel. Rather high dry bitterness. Fairly weak, but nice, fruity scent.
Almost a bit too bitter for me, not a summer beer after a long walk, also not something I chug down pin after pint, but a beer to slowly sip on while watching the world go by. The bitter aftertaste really lingers.

DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2010 Cask gravity, The White Swan, Stoke Golding. Headless ruby but all the aroma and flavour are there. Toasted, cranberry and chocolate aroma with a generous squirt of grapefruit. Lovely soapy roasted beer finishing with burnt nuts and grapefruit. Rounded berry notes in the middle. Transatlantic and Juicy.

@ Playfair, Edinburgh. Golden with a thin head. Leafy, herbal hop character with fruity nuances. On the palate, it’s a bit toasty, again with fruity nuance. Good clean bitter.
