Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 28, 2007 Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A golden beer with a slight haze under a thin light orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dusty hops, and some stearin. The flavor is sweet malty with citrusy hop notes, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish. yespr (7843), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 Half pint cask at Charlies. Nice. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Dec 20, 2007 Cask at Charlie’s, Copenhagen
Golden color. The aroma has some grassy hop. Balanced flavor, dry malt, good grassy hop, and a quite clear yeast footprint that improves it. Dry and a bit astringent. Good and refreshing. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 8, 2005 Cask at Ship and Mitre, Liverpool
Had just been to the Baltic Fleet home of the Wapping brewery and this beer was everything they were trying to be and just failing slightly. This is golden, clear, fresh, refreshing with lots of citrus flavours and acids and hops on the end. Good in mouth with long lasting finish of grapefruit MesandSim (4623), Highgate, Greater London, England Nov 6, 2007 A Mes rate: Cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.
Golden with a reasonable white head. Light hoppy nose with elderflower and a harsh medicinal note. Tobacco flavour with a little citrus and an all too apparant metallic tang, especially in the finish. Pretty rough.
