Commercial Description:
Tesco Challenge bottled beer challenge winner (pasteurised). Has also been available on cask at 4.5%.
Hop variety is as fundamental to the flavour of a beer as grape type is to a wine. In "Liberation" we have used Liberty and Willamette varieties to give an outstanding hop character - clean, refreshing and flowery with a lingering aftertaste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden without much head. Lovely, fruity hop aroma. Notes of citrus but not very bitter. Excellent indeed. 050503

Bottled. Dark golden colour with nice foamy white head. Very fruity aroma with hints of caramel. Flavour was more hoppy than I expected, but still very wellbalanced. The finish was quite sweet and left the mouth a bit sticky. Had the fortune to find one bottle of this in a local small shop. Would buy more if they happen to get more, the shopowner didn’t know by the point I bought this.

Bottled, Pasteurised. Golden beer with a carbonated bubbly head, short lived. Harder oily resin hoppy beer, sharp and tangy, almost acidic. A grapefruit peel note throughout with a sharp coating finish.

This possess a sharp bitter taste that was in danger of overpowering me.Lovely gold appearance but overall it lacks the complexity and pure class of their wonderful Bitter and Twisted.
