imdownthepub (4250), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Mar 31, 2008 Cask conditioned at The Three Pigeons, Banbury. Gold to amber with light white head, sl haze. Thinnish golden ale, almost lager on the palate, but with some yeastiness and a touch of fruit. Lateish hops, but all very low key. It’s ok. Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 24, 2008 Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. An amber beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity combined with a light flowery note. The flavor is sweet malty and fruity, leding to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin. A bit boring. cgarvieuk (2614), Edinburgh, Scotland Sep 2, 2007 Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh ... Amber colour. Apple aroma with hints of grass. Red apples in flavour with grassy hops. Medium bitter with light sweetness all along. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 31, 2007 Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. Deep golden. Grassy and lightly buttery. Fairly sweet with medium body. Slightly hopier than your average Scottish cask ale, and also with a tad more bitterness.
