Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, keller, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Tea and someherb I can’t identify. OK. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Jul 10, 2009 A Mes rate: cask cellar run at the Rake. Semi hazy dark gold with a thin but lasting off white head. Very floral on the nose with some light biscuity malt underneath. Similar flavour but with hints of smoky bacon crisps. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Fruity malty and slightly roasted aroma with some hints of berries. Fruity roasted malty flavor with some hints of berries in the flavor aswell. Dry roasted finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 4, 2008 Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A red-brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries and raosted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt and lighter notes of berries, leading to a dry and very bitter end with notes of wood and roasted malt lingering around. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark Jun 21, 2008 Cask conditioned at Charlies. Dark reddish brown coloured. Aroma of berries and some hops. Fruity black currant flavour with a rather bitter finish. Medium bodied.
