December brings the last of our seasonal beers - biscuity and bitter with a long finish.
A colour of dark copper leads to a nose that is hoppy and spicy, a balanced palate and a long, hoppy finish.
There are both crystal and chocolate malts in this tawny beer - it’s full bodied with a delighful hop character from Challenger and Styrian Goldings.

Fantastic hoppy aroma, lots of citrus. Fine body, bread, lemon, grass. Pepper. This is a very welcome addition to their range. But it would probably have been better as a summer beer if it has to be seasonal. Considering the alcohol content, this should make other brewers sit up and notice. Could we have some of those in Norwegian supermarkets, please?

Bottle. Pours a red-orange clear liquid with a medium-sized, off-white head. Aroma is dominated by hops with notes of citrus, but also has a caramel malt background with a hint of butter. Taste is quite balanced with fruity hop notes and a round maltiness. Some bitterness that lasts for a while. Easy to drink and rather good.
