[Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] A light yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor is dry hoppy and bitter while the body is thin.

Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Pale yellow. Orangey aroma. Sweet and pleasantly fruity with vital elastic very soft mouthfeel. A flowery bitterness kicks in in the finish which gives a pleasant and verywell balanced summer ale.

Golden. Rather lifeless appearance, actually. Aroms is earthy with blackcurrants and elderflowers. Light, watery palate. Hints of bitterness and elderflowers. Quick finish. Far from their best effort.

Cask handpull at Knights Templar, JDW, Holborn. Pale gold, thin lasting white head. Slightly thin and ascetic, golden bitter. I was hoping this would be best of the lot and it isn’t. Yes, it has wheat, yes it has some harsh citrus hops. Good citrus beer, along the Harviestoun lines but lacks intensity and is a sub Oakham White Dwarf.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Gatehouse. Golden blonde with lots of lace. Citric and floral aroma. Plenty of hoppy character in the mouth with a lovely creamy texture. Slight lick of malt for some balance. Lovely dusty bitter finish. A pleasant surprise.
