A decent if unexceptional bitter. Quite sweet, could do with a little more hoppy bitter news to balance, but nice enough.

Pale golden orange pour without a lot of head. Spicy and citrus filled nose. Weaker than expected mouth. Very easy to drink. Most of the flavor comes out in the finish and aftertaste. Very refreshing. Quite a bit of distinct hops in the finish, very bitter beer like hops that you wouldn’t think would go well with the spice and citrus but it does. It off sets it really well. This seems like it would be a great backyard/patio BBQ beer.

Cask at SRAF. Pours golden, nose is floral fruit, dull toffee, grassy, taste is more of the same.

Terrible pump-clip. Cask at White Lady, JDW. Pours clear pale gold, nice white head & lacing. Aromas of lemon and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Light sweetness. Dry finish. OK.

Cask, a clear light gold with a creamy lasting head, aroma of floral hops and toffee hint, taste mild bitterness, citrus flavour and hops. Gentle carbonation. A nice session ale I reckon.

From a keg in the Sheep Heid, Edinburgh. Unusual pouring mechanism, took forever to settle. Strawish yellow, pale, thick white head. Light floral ale with a surprisingly bitter hoppy twang in the finish. Decent enough.

A creamy, hoppy and almost flowery pint with a sharp bitter finish and a subtle aroma that made me think the beer was going to be blander than it was.

Cask by handpump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow - clear yellow amber, thin bubbly off-white head, fruity citrus hop aroma, no lacing, grapefruit and tropical fruit flavour, but thin, prolonged bitter citrus aftertaste

Aroma: Straw and earthy notes.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a small white head. No carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Light citrus, verging on sour. Earthy and a little soapy. Lingering bitter finish.

Palate: Thin to medium body with a very oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: A solid, decent golden ale, but it’s not special or memorable. Very light at just 4.0% ABV.

From cask at Guildford Arms. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and grapefruity. Peachy, bitter and citrusy. Bitter, citrusy and grapefruity to peachy into the finish.
