Böttle from Systembolagen. Golden colour with white bubbly head. Fruity hoppy aroma. Taste is quite bitter with decent maltyness. Feels a bit harsh and too alcoholic. Not bad but for an Über Metal Edition could be more exciting brew.

gyllenbock (4091) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2010
Bottle. Clear golden with a small white foam. Weak aroma with some fruit, bread, hay and metal. The same in the taste. Thin with some rather strange things in the aftertaste. Not the best beer out there.

Fungrim (52) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 27, 2010
Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium head that dissipates quickly. Slightly dry nose, with some berries hidden at the back. Pleasant though. Alcohol, dry wood and bitterness in the taste. Medium smooth body with a lingering bitterness at the end. But the alcohol taste really destroys it, what have they done, taken an English ale and forced it up to 6+ ABV? Not very pleasant at all.

Malty caramel on the aroma. Average, on the full side, in the mouth with some caramel malt, a bit of alcohol making its presence felt and then bitter hops and spiciness... let’s call that pepper on the finish.

Bottled. Clear golden, mid-sized head. Mild grapefruit aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and mid-hoppy. Salty bitter finish.

Linnet (1029) - Umeå, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2010
Appearance: Thin white head, no lacing, light amber colour. Aroma: Grassy hops, understated malts. Citrus, pine. Flavour: Big bite upfront, grapefruit, but also a funky aftertaste. Good bite, but lacking in other aspects. Mouthfeel: Average, sharp carbonation Total: Bit of a disappointment.

Jonte (1410) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - AUG 13, 2010
Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Aroma: Hops, fruit drops, bread, hay, lemon, butter, marzipan, a bit chemical and strange. Flavor: Oranges, lemon, grass, wood, butter, rose water, apricot, alcohol, chemical notes, very bitter. Thin, flat mouthfeel. Unbalanced and unpleasant harsh bitterness. I usually like Harviestoun, but I don´t like this.

Bottle at home. At first, smelled and tasted quite nice, but after some sips, not that good. Think it’s because I ate a Ben & Jerrys Sundae which is very sweet. After that sweetness was gone, it didn’t taste that much besides alcohol hotness. Will not buy this again!

Bottle. Pours amber without any head. Parfumed aroma with some hops. Way to sweet taste

Marsiblursi (2983) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2010
(Bottle) Pours pale golden with a fast decreasing, off-white head. The aroma holds a nice blend of hay/grassy hops and white bread/straw-like malt. Orange juice and orange marmalade alongside hints of dried apricots and green apples also present. The nose is cleaner and less "canned fruit ester-ish" than your typical English Strong Ale. Hints of doughy yeast as well as honey and tulip. The flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Tones of citrus, bread, straw, dry honey and apricot/dry pineapple juice alongside a grassy and floral afterbitterness. The mouthfeel is clean and light juicy with a near medium carbonation. Light wooden, too alcohol-ish finish. Medium bodied. Good malt and hop balance, but too alcohol driven in the flavour.
