Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pale yellow. Fres zesty orangey nose. Dryish and light bodied soft and vital with loads of orangey hops atop the inviting slender grainy malt. finishes with lingering bitterness. A glorious light ale that makes me think of Dark Star Hophead.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - JAN 8, 2009
Cask conditioned at The Castle, Furnival St., London Blond color. The aroma is very nice, mild, quite earthy and a bit flowery, honey too; good English hops, persistent. Some malt flavor and a good bitterness, moderately sweet, well balanced. In the final there is something like glue, interesting, with quality hops traces. Very good.

A Mes rate: gravicask at The Junction Tavern. Pale gold. Clean as a whistle. No head. Superb nettley hop aroma with gorgeous grassy notes, faint hints of lemon and ganja held up by a lightly sweet malty backbone. A bloody good smell. Flavour... this is what I love so much about British beer. Not brash or bold, just a quintessential drop of cask ale lovliness. I could drink this all day. Wonderfully grassy, excellent mineral notes and delicate citric accents. Utterly superb British hop bitterness in the finish with a lip smacking dryness. Each sip leaves me wanting more. Damn good beer.
