Ola Dubh (or "Black Oil") is so named because it is gloopy and viscous. This limited release has been matured in casks from Orkney’s award-winning Highland Park distillery to add complimentary whisky notes to what is already an amazing brew. It is chocolatey with a roasty, bittersweet aftertaste. Special Reserve 18, whisky notes: Highland Park 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was named Best Spirit in the World by F. Paul Pacult; it offers toffee sweetness, almond nuttiness and a prolonged, smoky aftertaste.

Barwa: ciemna, praktycznie nie prześwitująca. Piana jasno beżowa, całkiem obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, otrzymująca się i ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Wysycenie niskie. Lekka kwaskowość, czekolada gorzka i palone słody. Bardziej wytrawny - czekoladowy i alkoholowy koniec. [5/5]

On tap at Chmielarnia, Warsaw, Poland. Nice thick slightly beige head. Vanilla, delicate dark chocolate, nutty aroma. I definitely felt some saltyness in aroma. Taste is really well ballanced. The saltyness coming form whisky barrel contrasts sweet chocolate, nutty flavours. Overall fantastic beer.

Couleur noire, mousse brune. Super nez de malt, chocolat, café grillés...notes fumées et douces, note de reglisse. Corps assez huileux , peu de carbonation. Gout puissant et doux de chocolat, grillé, bois.... bien longue en bouche... super

Had a bottle with Brisben Raith and Lanker. Pours black with minimal head. Aroma is malty roasty and dark fruits. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor. Fell a bit flat. Creamy smooth mouthfeel and full bodied. Somewhat sweet and finishes that way. Overall very nice.

Totally black, medium beige head. Strong aroma of liquorice, cocoa, soy sauce, roasted malts, vanilla and smoked wood. Taste is very rich, complex and perfectly balanced, it’s quite sweet, moderate dry and slightly salty. Full body. Minimal carbonation. Incredibly tasty beer! One of the most complex and full of taste beer I’ve ever tried.
