Nose is malty with smooth liquorice, coffee and cocoa. Flavor intense salty liquorice, some coffee and burned smoky notes. Finishes dry with lingering burned bitterness. Tan head that lasts a while leads to lacing in the glass as you drink it. Little aroma and has a smooth taste with a slight chocolate finish. Not too bad. Very dark , virtually black with fading brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate. Big heavy flavour, prominently malt, dark chocolate and some fruit. Very smooth and rich. Aptly named.
