Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A superb, rich, full-bodied beer derived from a 1970s homebrewing recipe. Wickedly smooth chocolate dominates the flavour, which is nicely balanced by the bitterness of the hops.

330ml bottle. Pours a solid black. Small light brown head that lasts most of the way down the glass. Aroma of Roasty/chocolaty. Somewhat sweet malty flavour of coffee, bread chocolate, fruit, finish with subtle bitterness.

12oz bottle. Pours black with thick lingering light brown head. Subtle aroma of dark roasted malts, maybe some dark cherry in there. First taste is a large hit of both light and dark chocolates. A bitterness slowly gains through the finish, but not too biting, enough to linger in the palate for a couple minutes. Full bodied. The malt profile is fairly one dimensional but good.

Bottle. Near black, as promised, with copper-red highlights. Initial aroma of marmite, then chocolate and leather. Bitter roast flavour, coffee and chocolate, some leather. Very dry, bitter finish. Delicious!

Pours black with a little tannish brown head. Very thick with a smoky, roasted chocolate flavor. Can feel and taste that 6% abv. A little pricey, but very good. Thumbs up.

Experimente!

From bottle. The aroma reminds me of old man wet farts in a sweaty rugby club with beer stained carpet around the bar. Some roasted cocoa and malt in there to. Great black colour with a frothy tan head. Nice smooth texture with a little bit of roasted chocolate malt in the flavour. Nice but not what I was expecting.

Sampled in a 22oz. Not bad. A pretty thick and creamy brew. Has a nice smooth finish, lots of malts and lots of well crafted bitterness. Great brew.
