3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the falcon, clapham. Reddy, deep brown and dark. It's fine, typical aroma and flavour - coffee, malt, choc with a bit of smokiness. A disappointment, just OK.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Firkin at Sugar Maple. Wow, this is what its all about. Brown black, opaque. Huge steady beige head. Extra soft and smooth on the palate. Cloudy chocolate tones. A touch oily, but simply a fantastic beer experience. Chocolate milk undertones. Luscious, world class subtlety. Perfect beer, really different experience than the bottle.
