Had on cask at Checkers in Oxford during the 2013 beer festival. This was my favorite beer from the festival. Pours very dark. Roasted barley and coffee notes. Very nice.

Thick creamy and black. Bursting with aromas of roasted coffee and bitter chocolate. The flavor is slightly sweet up front, umami and a very satisfying bitter finish.

Cask at the falcon, clapham. Reddy, deep brown and dark. It's fine, typical aroma and flavour - coffee, malt, choc with a bit of smokiness. A disappointment, just OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft from cask. Poured nearly black with a sudsy head. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt, notes of coffee, milk chocolate, hint of vanilla and sourness. Slightly oily, slightly creamy. Wonderful beer.

Firkin at Sugar Maple. Wow, this is what its all about. Brown black, opaque. Huge steady beige head. Extra soft and smooth on the palate. Cloudy chocolate tones. A touch oily, but simply a fantastic beer experience. Chocolate milk undertones. Luscious, world class subtlety. Perfect beer, really different experience than the bottle.

Very dark colour, almost black. Taste is of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee, a very nice surprise. (I assume this is the corrcet beer I tried, had it in the Penny Black Northwich 21/2/2013)

Cask at Haymarket. Black with a long lasting tan head. A thick chocolate and roasty beer. I’m a big fan of this.

Cask at Ales and Tails, Twickenham, 12/01/13. Light black with a good sized tan head that retains well. Excellent lacing follows. Nose is papery and cardboard, roast malt, light spice. Taste comprises roast malt, touch of cardboard, some chocolate, a little peppery, caramel. Medium bodied with bite, softish carbonation, dry finish.

Cask at Busters on 28th. Very dark brown pour with a tan head. Dense, smokey, roasty, and some licorice sweetness. Good stuff.
