Cask. Black beer with a bubbly shortliving beige head and a light acidic coffee aroma with notes of dried fruit and dusty hops. Taste is sweet, light ashy, medium bitter with hints of licorice, chocolate and plums. Dry, astringent finish, surprisingly light texture. I actually prefer the bottled version...

The aroma and the flavor is alright, maybe a little thin, with elements of roasted malt, a little smoke, fruits and caramel. Hmm! I do not really know why I think this beer is boring. But something that disturbs me, however, is the sweet-sour tone that is found in both the aroma and the taste. That I do not like!

Cask @ Caley Sample Rooms. Pours an opaque black with a nice creamy head. The nose has burnt chocolate. The taste has dark bitter chocolate. The palate has a big structure, it has a creamy texture but I’m not completely happy with the end. It is burnt rather than refreshing. Overall, a big tastey beer but I only want one.

Draft. Roasty near black brew with silky smooth rummy aroma and flavors of coffee, dark chocolate and spicey hops. Kind of reminds me of a porter. Very good
