Jet black,no head. Plum aroma quickly becomes bacon very quickly. And once you’ve got the smoky bacon idea in your head, you’ll sense it every time you lift the glass to your lips. Deeply burnt but also quite milky. Subtle but also quite insistent stoutness. Perfectly balanced.

MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Aug 20, 2008 Bottle, 6%. Nicely bready, slightly roasted aroma. Black colour, small stable light brown head. The flavour is very nice, roasted and nutty, slightly sweet. Low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. Mitch_Wayne (77), Kokkola, Finland Aug 20, 2008 Roasted dark chocolate aroma, roasted malty taste with some liquorice, some dryness in the end. Suprisingly light all things considered but very pleasant. There is a time and a place for beer like this. JK54B (269), Finland Aug 18, 2008 A 0.33L bottle from Alko shop. Dark brown colour. Some hints of chocolate and coffee in the nose. Pale brownish head. Some bitterness and chocolate and coffee in the taste. punainen6 (64), Finland Aug 17, 2008 Bottle.
