Bottled. Deep amber colour body with a bright white lacy head, persisting. Floral, rose petal aroma amongst the malts. Smooth flavour, slightly musky and again floral.

Bottled, Pasteurised. Dark amber coloured with a white bubbly head. Certainly not a winter warmer, but a pleasant enough malty beer with a background blackcurrant fruitiness. Mildly hoppy on the finish, with enough interest throughout. Decent enough.

A dark pale ale brewed especially for the Sainsburys supermarket chain.Ahter trying this brewerys superb Bitter and Twisted this was a little dissapointing. A full body but not as much depth as you would expect for a Christmas ale.Nevertheless this is a very pleasant beer.No one taste dominates but there is a lingering hopiness which is quite attractive. Good but not great.

Bottled. Copper bronze, good rocky lasting head and nice level of carbonation. Starts off with a suggestion of cherry skins in the nose with a little malt and hops. In the mouth it leans towards the hoppy side and more hops dominate the slightly bitter finish.

Amber beer with a good head intially, but the beers appearance soon goes flat. The aroma is fairly fruity, and the flavour is lightly hopped with floral hints. Overall a pleasant drink.
