gary07734 (325), Tyne & Wear, England Jun 13, 2009 Pours pale with white head, starts off malty, then lager like biitterness with a plenty hops at the end. Rather nice. screwball (762), Motala, Sweden May 21, 2009 Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Yellow. White small head. Aroma is flowery, hops and some citrus. Flavor is hopy, citrus, bitter and little flowery. JoeinUccle (851), Brussels, Belgium Apr 1, 2009 Cask at Chelmsford Winter BF. A yellow, fruity lager... something like a German Helles left out to go warm and flat. I mean that in the best possible way. Lemony, grainy, nutty, moderately bitter, quaffable but plenty of bite to it. A tasty outlier. downender (2171), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Feb 3, 2009 Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Bristol 3/2/09. Pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma started sweet, with some hay and floral hops. Flavour had some orange blossom, citrus fruit and a decent bitter finish. Good stuff. weaselkenievil (566), Cheshire, England Jan 21, 2009 Cask at Sutton Hall, Macclesfield. Light yellowy gold with with thick whiteish head. Malty with some nice fruity hops. yespr (10088), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 19, 2008 From cask at the Halfway House. Pours clear yellow with a dense creamy white head. Light malty and fruity hops aroma. Flavour starts mild sweet with a nice fruity hops note. Light malty note with a mild bitterness coming through. Smooth fruity finish. Nice, easy and quite lovely. albertane (373), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England Sep 21, 2008 Cask at the Green Man, Stamford. One of the best pale lagers I’ve had, my enjoyment of this was not spoiled by the know-it-all at the bar (punter, not staff) who took pleasure in telling me how this was "like a lager" but that I shouldn’t expect it to be cold and fizzy. It tastes of sweet fruits with a hint of citrus rind and spice. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland Aug 13, 2008 Blackfriars, Inverness, cask. Nice hazy golden colour/light yellow. Thin head. A taste of citrus fruits, lemons. Hint of orange. Nice smooth finish. A fantastically refreshing beer...
