A yellow beer with a small head. The aroma is slightly bitter. The flavor is very fruity stemming from the Hersprucker hops with notes of lemon. A very fresh and lovely lager.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden and clear, nice, creamy head that leaves a pretty lacework. Very fresh, citrusy nose. Rather light body with the aroma hops in full dominance and - again - with the citrus being most pronounced (and it’s no lie when the back label mentions grape fruit flavours. Pronounced bitterness but never too much. A true beer with character. 180705 and 240603

Århus2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Light hops fruity aroma. Flavour holds a nice citrusy fruity hops note. Light bitter yet with a persisting fruity finish.

Lemony, toasty aroma w/ slight plum & strawberry esters. Light bronze colour. Clean malt accent with notes of nuts, toast; herbally-hoppy background with a hint of earthy bitterness. Vaguely lemony – the challenger hop signature the label tells me about. Nicely balanced, though perhaps some more malty fullness would help it out.
