Commercial Description:
Cask: Regular. The bottled version has a separate listing.
Brewed with lager malt and Hersbrücker and Challenger hops. Fermented with a lager yeast, but treated in every other way as a cask ale, save for a week or two of cool conditioning prior to release.
Named after the misty mountain near Pitlochry. Has won numerous awards as a cask conditioned beer, including three times gold winner at the Great British Beer Festival.

Gravity at Plymouth Beer Festival. Straw colour with no head. Scent is of sweet berry fruit, in the mouth the is lots of grapefruit, but still quite sweet. Thick on the palate with a dry finish.

Not sure whether this qualifies as a cask lager, or a blonde ale. Small white head, good lacing. Flowery nose, fruity taste. Bit lagery and harsh hoppy for me.

A deep golden honey coloured beer, likened to that of sweet white wine. Has a weak white head. A light, fruity aroma of citrusy hops with some malt towards the end. The taste is dry. bitter and hoppy. The hops give the flavour a zesty citrus, grapefruit like element, then the malt comes through, smooth and biscuity sweet. The finish is dry and hoppy. Cask at Helsinki beer festival 2006. Golden color. Unusual tart rhubarb and apple aroma with aromatic maltiness. Malty, estery and hoppy fruity flavor with firm bitterness. Bitterness grows towards finish.

Golden color, very small white head. Very grassy, strong flowery nose. Fruity (apples), flowery flavor. Malty-hoppy finish. Long bitter aftertaste.

Casked. Golden colour, mediumsized head. Aroma of fruits and strong sticky sweetness. Flavour was surprisingly lame compared to aroma, just some sweet fruit along with hayish hoppiness. Felt unbalanced,
