Straw colour with no head. Scent is of sweet berry fruit, in the mouth the is lots of grapefruit, but still quite sweet. Thick on the palate with a dry finish. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Jun 5, 2006 Not sure whether this qualifies as a cask lager, or a blonde ale. Small white head, good lacing. Flowery nose, fruity taste. Bit lagery and harsh hoppy for me. StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England May 19, 2006 A deep golden honey coloured beer, likened to that of sweet white wine. Has a weak white head. A light, fruity aroma of citrusy hops with some malt towards the end. The taste is dry. bitter and hoppy. The hops give the flavour a zesty citrus, grapefruit like element, then the malt comes through, smooth and biscuity sweet. The finish is dry and hoppy. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Apr 20, 2006 Lager maybe, but too close to a Blonde ale, it wa snice but nothing special, probably is the first Lager on Cask I have ever drunk. Miksu (2187), Jyväskylä, Finland Apr 14, 2006 Cask at Helsinki beer festival 2006. Golden color. Unusual tart rhubarb and apple aroma with aromatic maltiness. Malty, estery and hoppy fruity flavor with firm bitterness. Bitterness grows towards finish. TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Apr 9, 2006 Cask@HBF2006
Golden color, very small white head. Very grassy, strong flowery nose. Fruity (apples), flowery flavor. Malty-hoppy finish. Long bitter aftertaste. oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Apr 9, 2006 Casked. Golden colour, mediumsized head. Aroma of fruits and strong sticky sweetness. Flavour was surprisingly lame compared to aroma, just some sweet fruit along with hayish hoppiness. Felt unbalanced,
