Commercial Description:
Cask: Regular. The bottled version has a separate listing.
Brewed with lager malt and Hersbrücker and Challenger hops. Fermented with a lager yeast, but treated in every other way as a cask ale, save for a week or two of cool conditioning prior to release.
Named after the misty mountain near Pitlochry. Has won numerous awards as a cask conditioned beer, including three times gold winner at the Great British Beer Festival.

Golden color, very small white head. Very grassy, strong flowery nose. Fruity (apples), flowery flavor. Malty-hoppy finish. Long bitter aftertaste.

Casked. Golden colour, mediumsized head. Aroma of fruits and strong sticky sweetness. Flavour was surprisingly lame compared to aroma, just some sweet fruit along with hayish hoppiness. Felt unbalanced,

Cask at Cambridge Blue in Cambridge.

Pours a very pale light-lager yellow, with a surpising lively aroma of malts and whiskey. The flavor starts relatively subtle, a pleasant lager, hints of lemon, but it brings in a hearty peat-smoke and whiskey twist this is really quite pleasant so long as one focuses on drinking it as a lager doesn’t start imaging oneself drinking the melted ice from a glass of finished single malt.

Cask, Jan Primus. Slightly hazy golden color, short off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and a bit fruity. Refreshing taste, crisp, slight bitterness, creamy and oily texture.

(Cask@Gallows Bird, Espoo) Golden color with a very small, lacy head. Quite strong berry aroma. A flavor of berries with quite mild hopping, plus some strawberry and apple. Light to medium-bodied palate with pretty low carbonation. A middle-class brew in every aspect.

Cask : Woodcote Steam/Beer festival, Oxfordshire. Citrus flavours underly a smooth, calm lager with a light hop aroma. It has a comlex body to it if you look, or it can be a nice swilling beer, easy to drink.
