4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Herkybird (21) - YORK, - AUG 22, 2009
This is the lager by which EVERY other lager has to be judged. Light straw colour, lovely fruity hop nose with clean malts and a complex palate. Dry, citrus aftertaste which lingers. Very little carbonation and served cool, which allows the full delicious flavour to come through. Carlsberg take note: this is DEFINITELY the best lager in the world.

On Cask at Wildeman. Gold body with thin head. Faint bitter nose. Taste is pretty malty and smooth. Sweet floral notes with a bitter finish. Enjoyable.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 mansquito (1821) - washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria cask ($7): Pours an orangeish colour with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is bready and fruity, but the taste is where it is at. It is kind of fruity. Nice amount of bitter hops. Bready finish. Extremely chuggable, but in the most pleasant possible way a beer can be chuggable. I was very impressed by this offering. This might be the best nondescript lager I have ever had.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rollinsr (161) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - FEB 6, 2012
Light in body with a slight amount of white head. Very drinkable with some sweet fruity (not exactly citrus aroma but a little banana and ginger-like flavors). Very crisp on the palate with only the slightest bit of malt beneath the hop and yeast flavors. Kind of reminded me of the Weihenstephaer Hefe. At 4.8% this beer is very sessionable.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 HonusWagner (796) - Florida, USA - FEB 4, 2012
One of the better casks I’ve ever tried, nose has nice lemony element and some slight sweetness. Taste is similar, although fruity hop quality is slightly lost. More pungent than expected; good beer overall and extremely refreshing.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ChainGangGuy (3837) - Canton, Georgia, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Appearance: Dispensed a hazed, yellow body with a small, snow white head.
Smell: Pith-heavy lemon peels, lesser notes of spice and herb over a subtle, very understated base of lightly crisped barley.
Taste: Lightly (and briefly) sweet, simple particularly pale maltiness. Dull spiciness with a sharp lemon burst accompanying the hop bitterness. Dry, lightly spicy finish with that pithy lemon quality still gripping the tongue.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Schiehallion has that strong lemony tone I felt their Bitter & Twisted had, leaving it just a bit too Lemon Pledge-y for me.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 mr_h (462) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JAN 18, 2012
Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow (11 Jan 12) - clear golden with mild citrus aroma and off-white head, citrus taste with slightly bitter and fruity aftertaste, very nice drink
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JAN 5, 2012
First tasted this in Coanes, Johnstone in April 1995. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear gold in colour with a thick creamy white head. Strong citric notes and warm bread notes in the long aroma. Thin and resiny mouthfeel with good lacing. Pale malts give a sharp clean malty bite with gooseberry fruit evident. Wheaty cereal notes present in the grassy, bitter aftertaste. Finish is robust with the malt sweetness coming through. This has weaned a few punters off their nitrokeg TL! Highly recommended.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BenH (737) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 18, 2011
Cask at kings wank. Golden with white head. Nice light lemon hop aroma. Similar taste, flavours are perfecty balanced, nice caramel malt with slight yeast note. Palate is a bit too thin and lacks co2. Probably better out a keg
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 ontbeermaker (1406) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2011
Cask, pretty thin but yet very drinkable, it pours a bright yellow and taste pretty nice, this is a decent offering
