The Mid Atlantic Ridge is where two tectonic plates meet at almost the midpoint between America and Scotland. With this Geological symmetry in mind, we’ve created a union between American amarillo and British hops to produce a distinctive US style ale with Scottish origins, quaffable with a seismic depth of flavour.
Hops East Kent Goldings, Fuggles, Apollo, Amarillo
Malts Wheat malt, lager malt

Belle robe.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2015 From a 50 cl bottle in Edinburgh. Bright gold-amber with a decent head. Too earthy (flavor), as hinted at by the aroma. Flavor is a bit stronger than average for style. Hops build into the finish and linger on in the moderately bitter aftertaste. Medium body and near medium carbonation.

Bottle from Sake Taniguchi (World Beer Market). Piney nose, and an unusual hop mix, smells like boozy chocolate drink, light grass. Clear deep orangeish/gold color, very little head, slick. Ripe dates, harsh hopping, some citrus fruit, and light burnt or phenolic note in finish. Thin-medium body. Maybe this one didn’t travel well. Really doesn’t come together. A disappointment from this brewery.

Cor de mel, bem turva. Espuma rala de curta duração. Aroma cítrico e levemente floral. Bem amarga, com toques cítricos e maltados. Retrogosto adocicado com final amargo e levemente ácido.

Cask and newly tapped. Rich pure white whippy head with a deep russet colour.Firm bitter burr which builds and accelerates towards its end which is well supported by a raw yet supple supportingstructure. The bottled and keg version are hopelessly outgunned compared the cask equivalent.

A: spruce, floral, delicious! A: golden, clear, minimal head, white foam T: very bitter, medium sourness P: medium body, thick feel, average carbonation, bitter, astringent, long finish O: Gosto muito das APA. São mais "brutas" mais francas que as IPA. E esta é uma ótima representante.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique 070415. I find the beer from Harviestoun a bit hit and miss sometimes and unfortunately I think that this one is more a miss than a hit. Poured into the glass a murky sickly looking muddy yellow colour that was not visually pleasing at all - looked like pineapple juice. The aroma was very mild and moderate and I had to work hard to really find any aroma at all. Flavour was much the same which was disappointing because I have had some really great beers from this brewery. Maybe I just managed to get an off bottle. Thin in the mouth even though it looked thickish in the glass.

Keg @ Meat. Cloudy amber colour with a lingering, creamy head. Dry, tropical fruit aroma. Similar taste with lingering bitterness
