The Mid Atlantic Ridge is where two tectonic plates meet at almost the midpoint between America and Scotland. With this Geological symmetry in mind, we’ve created a union between American amarillo and British hops to produce a distinctive US style ale with Scottish origins, quaffable with a seismic depth of flavour.
Hops East Kent Goldings, Fuggles, Apollo, Amarillo
Malts Wheat malt, lager malt

Bottle @ THT August, courtesy of Scotty001. Pours a clear golden beer with a quickly disappearing white head on top. Aroma is rather soapy, perfume and floral. Flavor is very light, some bitter touches, faint vegetal hops. Soft carbonation, light bitter aftertaste and overall not too interesting.

50cl bottle shared at the August THT. Very thin white head. Clear golden pour. Low carbonation. Slight bittermess. Ok.

Ietwat boterige nasmaak.

Bottle at home after a looong day. Lightly hoppy with sweet, flowery, citrus undertones. Pleasant enough but lacking a bit of depth.

Drunk from 50cl bottle given by parents from their Scotland trip. Enjoyable bitter pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle pours clear gold with a poor, fast dissipating head. Vegetal, farty nose, smells like an English bitter. Nice sweet bitter thing going on on the taste. Quite a big hop presence but are they new world hops? Does not really taste that way. Well balanced, well constructed beer but it does not excite me.

Pours a slightly copper-ish yellow with a tidy, thick, white head which soon recedes to a foamy layer. Aroma is laden with sprucey/piney hops and a hint of citrus. Taste is piney, slight citrus, medium bitterness and much refreshment. Great pale.
