2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled, pasteurised, 275ml, courtesy of Derek. Amber, carbonated white head. Sweet and thin beer, pasteurised beyond reason into a drab cardboardy, malty affair. Really not too good.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Subtitled "a truly flatulent brew" this is surprisingly good. Ken Brooker, founder and owner of Harviestoun, seems to enjoy producing ales with a range of hops and this is no exception. The hops used in the brew are Hersbrucker and Challenger, then Styrian Goldings are added for aroma. The result is a very clean, refreshing and citric beer with a subtle play of the citric fruits. An ideal summer session beer.
