3.9% cask at Cloisters. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Resinous hop aroma of pine, caramel and barley. Similar flavours. A little bitter green hop character. Dry finish with a little oily mouth-feel and mild carbonation. Nice pine and caramel linger.

JDW Autumn Fest, 2010. Classed by JDW, for whom this beer is exclusively made, as an IPA, this is a robustly hopped golden ale. More hoppy than an APA, but not too aggressive. Quite drinkable.

Half, hand pulled cask at Standing Order (JDW). Lasting, thin beige head atop of a near-clear amber body. Floral aroma with lemony hops. Peaches and lime to the fruity taste profile, along with earthy malts. Rounded, long-lived bitter ending. Medium body. Refreshing. (Edinburgh, 29.11.2010).

The Baron, Hinckley. Honey amber with a solid off white head. Soapy
grapefruit aroma. Soapy perfumed taste; stillness, shave of old lemon, grapefruit milkshake, huge lace. Good moussey lemon and lime feel; hops and softness. Tasty and well-hopped, as anything from Harviestoun tends to be.

Cask at the Tyburn, JDW, London. Pours clear, amber-gold with a very creamy, off-white head. Bready nose with some pineapple and floral hops. Nice flavor, with caramel and honey sweetness and some more fruity and dirty bitters. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Balanced finish, with more bread and butter malts, some honey, and tropical fruits. Light, dry earth in the throat, with light herbs as well. Not very complex, per se, but quite well rounded.

Cask @ Guildford Arms. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is light malted, hoppy, citrus. Flavour is citrus, malty, citrus and pine hops, oranges. Juicy. Fairly bitter and dry. Very well drinkable and good balanced.

Cask Conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head and copious lacing. A good citrus jelly aroma and taste. Good depth and good hops. Orange and lime notes. Very enjoyable indeed.

8th November 2010 Spoons festival! Slightly hazy amber beer with a half decent head. Smooth semi dry palate. Low carbonation. Lots of fresh grapefruit bitterness. Traces of orange and a whisper of peach. Turns a little sweeter before the finish but has a lingering bitter aftertaste. Good effort!
